IQAC shall evolve mechanisms and procedures for:
a) Developing systems and procedures to guarantee timely, efficient, and progressive work completion in respect of academic, administrative, and financial responsibilities.
b) Academic and research programs that are both relevant and of high quality.
c) Colleges and universities should make their programs affordable and accessible to all members of society d)Educational technology should be optimized and integrated
e) The assessment and evaluation process should be credible
f) The necessary resources should be provided
g) Researchers should share their findings and network with other institutions in India and around the world.
Functions
Some of the functions expected of the IQAC are:
1. Enabling the establishment of a learner-centric milieu that fosters the cultivation of high-quality education, while also facilitating the development of faculty members to embrace the necessary knowledge and technology for an engaged teaching and learning experience.
2. The distribution of information regarding diverse quality parameters to all stakeholders.
3. The parameters governing diverse academic and administrative endeavours within the institution
4. The gathering and examination of feedback from all relevant stakeholders regarding institutional processes pertaining to quality
5. Facilitating the arrangement of workshops and seminars pertaining to quality-related topics, as well as the advancement of quality circles.
6. Facilitating the advancement and implementation of quality benchmarks
7. Serving as a central agency within the Institution to coordinate activities related to quality, encompassing the adoption and dissemination of optimal methodologies.
8. Creating and managing an institutional database through Management Information Systems (MIS) with the aim of upholding and augmenting institutional quality.
9. Recording the diverse programs and activities that contribute to the enhancement of quality
10. The creation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) in accordance with the guidelines and parameters set forth by NAAC.
11. The regular execution of Academic and Administrative Audits and subsequent monitoring
